Action
Some shots of the action on the field. Okay, so like three, but I was busy drinking in the bar
instead of watching the action.
Bar
The Bar do Peixe was situated 50 meters from one field and was a
great place to hang out and drink with friends.
Beach
The beach was beautiful, with nice sand and warm water. The temperature was great, even after sunset, so hangin
out at the bar was pleasant. There were some great waves that
made for fantastic fun.
Bravas
The fun-loving Patatas Bravas were once again in full force at Lisbon. The Bravas successfully completed 99 verses of "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" in
their rented party van on their way to the beach.
Castle
Before arriving at the fields on Thursday Steve, Mike and I went to the castle overlooking
the port and saw some nice views of the city.
Fifth Degree Burns
The team I played on was Fifth Degree Burns, a team with players from USA, Switzerland, and Germany. Although we only
went 4-5, we had a great time together.
Fun
Pictures which shows some of the fun we all had at the tournament. One great thing about this tournament
was the small size allowed players to get to know most of the other players; the intimate
feeling helped make this tournament great.
Humor
Where's the camera? Oh good: there it is!
Lisbon
Some pictures from a day and a half travelling around the city. On the Monday following the
tournament, Koen, Steve and I ventured about.
Pabs
Pictures of - who else - me!
Party
Some photos from the party scene. Yes, there was drinking, perhaps no better displayed than
by those wacky Swiss guys!
